After suffering from years of chronic neck pain that kept getting worse, I decided to take matters into my own hands — and into my own home. I created a therapy room as my own personal space to treat my neck pain and other issues that arise from time to time.
For six months, I researched therapies that I could do throughout the day and even at work. I wanted to heal and help my body in ways that are 100% natural.
In the video, I’m laying on an infrared mat and pillow. (And I explain why it’s so dark!) Laying on it helps me heal, decreases inflammation, and softens tissues so I can do some stretches. My therapy room also has an inversion table, which helps align and lengthen my spine, a Pilates machine, yoga mat and more.
